IT’S USUALLY A 4+ DAY COURSE CLASSROOM TIME AND POOL SESSIONS (INCLUDING TESTS YOU HAVE TO PASS)
Once you’re confident with your gear and skills in the pool, you’ll head for the ocean for shore and boat-based diving.
Your course ‘itinerary’ will look something like this:
Day 1: Get set up with your equipment and spend the day in the swimming pool where you and your instructor will go through all the required skills needed to become a successful Open water diver.
Day 2: You and your instructor head out to a local training beach and complete two open water training dives. It is on these dives that you start showing us what you have mastered in the pool
Day 3: This is the day that it all comes together where you will head out on a boat to complete your two boat dives
Day 4: Extra dive.
