All the opportunities to dive, meet new people and various events.
Share a fond memory related to being a member of OMSAC (on a dive, at an event or club night, etc).
When I came to Cape Town 14 years ago, wanting my first dive, was invited to join a day / night dive in Simonstown. What a first dive experience!
If you had to recommend a Cape dive site, which one would it be and why?
Smits wrecks – so much to see and if you miss the one, you have others that you can see.
If you could dive anywhere in the world, where would you go?
So many to choose from – would love to dive around Florida.
What, in your mind, makes a good dive buddy?
One you can feel comfortable with – one you can trust and does not take chances.
Be honest What kind of dive buddy are you?
Relaxed – happy to just be under water, enjoy diving with photographers where I can just be there.
What is your best tip/trick for new divers?
Take your time and get comfortable- don’t rush the process, learn from others and ask questions.
