On Sunday the 27th of May, Evert, Jordan and I dived Atlantis reef with Underwater Explorers. Wow, leaving home at 07h20 it is still dark and slightly chilled we arrived at Millers at 08h00,ready for a nice lumpy boat ride to Atlantis, but we remained in False Bay.
We rolled over backwards just North of Partridge Point and what was crappy surface conditions disappeared and became a good dive with 16deg water and 10m vis.
Very nice reef with loads of large fish and big fans, overhangs and swim throughs were stunning too, a must for your logbook even though it is not a wreck.
Safe Diving.
